How to Update Aadhaar Card Details Online & Offline (2025 Guide)

Your Aadhaar card is one of the most important identity proofs in India. If your details like address, mobile number, photo, or date of birth are incorrect or have changed, you can easily update them online or offline in 2025.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to updating your Aadhaar card details:

1. 🌐 Update Online via UIDAI Portal (For Address Only)

Go to the official UIDAI portal: myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

• Login with Aadhaar number and OTP
• Select “Update Address Online”
• Upload address proof (e.g., utility bill, bank statement)
• Submit request and download acknowledgment

2. 🏢 Update Offline via Aadhaar Seva Kendra (For All Other Changes)

For updates like mobile number, photo, name, or date of birth, visit your nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center.

• Book appointment online (optional) from UIDAI site
• Carry original documents (they will be scanned and returned)
• Fill out the update/correction form at the center
• Biometric verification will be done for authentication

3. 💳 Pay the Update Fee
